KSMV (Kristiansands Skruefabrikk & Mek. Verksted AS) is a modern and well equipped workshop with 105 highly qualified employees. The company was founded by Otto Hansen already in 1918. From a modest start, the business has gradually evolved to becoming one of Norway's most advanced mechanical workshops. Today, we serve both National and International clients within a wide range of industries and we dedicate much of our success to a continuous focus on improvements and willingness to invest in quality, service and punctual delivery.

KSMV was NS-EN ISO 9002 certified in 1994. At the same time, we were certified according to the NS-EN ISO 3834-2 welding quality requirements. We always follow the latest quality standards and are now certified according to the new EN ISO 9001:2008 quality standard. Our primary work areas are sheet metal work, welding and processing in CNC-controlled machines; however, we also do assembly, pressure testing and other types of testing, inspection, and surface treatment.

We process a wide range of materials from cast iron to welding and machining of stainless materials such as Super Duplex, and SMO. We also process titanium and non-metallic materials such as plastic, composite and graphite. If required, we can provide full traceability of all parts from point-of-origin to point of delivery at client facility and handle anything from simple, traditional machining and welding tasks to the production of parts with extreme tolerance requirements.
